Committed
to teamwork, ethics, and assisting her brother in the family owned and
operated business with a passion for the care and handling of purebred
dogs.
Abbey is receiving invaluable learning experiences in a vast variety of
breeds under the mentorship of her brother, while continuing her
education and learning Business Operations and Communications.
In August, 2008 Abbey followed her brother Schuylar Moore in the
American Kennel Club (AKC) Junior Showmanship program; progressively
pursuing and achieving her handling skills and capability.
While winning most of her Best Junior Showmanship awards with her
brother’s fifteen inch Beagle “GCH Rockwood’s Milo Tipster” in the
Juniors ring, Abbey occasionally handled a Doberman Pinscher in the
Juniors and Breed ring. She
won several Best Junior Showmanship awards with her Doberman while also
acquiring twelve points, a Major, and several Best of Breed wins in the
Doberman ring.
Abbey qualified and was invited for three consecutive years to the AKC
Eukanuba National Championship Junior Showmanship competition.
She also qualified two years in a row for the prestigious
Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show making the cut in her preliminary class
for 2010.
In 2009, Abbey became the number one Beagle Junior Handler, Top Five
Hound, and Top Five All-Around Junior Handler.
In December 2010, Abbey finished her Junior Showmanship career
with forty-two Best Junior Showmanship awards and was the number
one Beagle Junior Handler, Number One Hound Junior Handler and Top Five
All-Around Junior Handler.
